Description

We are looking for a Producer to join our team of innovators and creative technologists building the future of workplace training. Your core responsibilities will include enabling a Scrum team of engineers. You will operate in a fast-paced, agile environment with the opportunity to work on many different types of projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage Agile planning rituals
  • Manage team of engineers supporting product development
  • Work with the team to develop task descriptions and timelines
  • Work with the PO to maintain a healthy backlog
  • Work with PO to ensure priority matches release needs
  • Work with QA team and PO to triage bugs
  • Release output of a given sprint or development cycle
  • Plan, scope, and budget features
  • Maintain budgets and resources through the course of each release
  • Plan releases and coordinate with other departments to ensure release schedule is met
  • Provide regular progress reports to the Director of Production
  • Ensure that project files and documentation are properly organized and archived
  • Maintain relationship with team members and work to keep team morale high
Skills
  • Familiarity of experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Strong understanding of development methodologies and team organization strategies
  • Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain project timelines and milestone documentation, supervising the progress of department milestones and individual tasks against those schedules
  • Schedule and coordinate milestone deliveries
  • Experience managing features through entire life cycle including design, creation and launch
  • Manage incoming bug reports and prioritize fixes
  • Ability to work well on a small Agile Scrum team in a fluid, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of production experience
  • Validated experience producing and leading cross-functional creative development teams and resources while meeting quality and schedule goals
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget
  • Experience adapting plans and processes quickly
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience managing teams of creative professionals
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • CSM, PMP or comparable work experience
  • Department of Defense experience a plus
  • VR or Game Development experience a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

This is a contract-to-hire position.
